MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is defined as the fiber and synthetic resin or other suitable adhesive mixture, produced under heating and pressure conditions. MDF can be produced from waste wood and recycled wood to make the best use of forest resources. The surface is smooth, even and compact, no knot scars, making it easy to paint and especially suitable for direct printing and thin veneer.
Stable size and good strength are the main advantages of MDF. It features less precision tolerance in the cutting process and can replace solid wood for indoor and other new applications. Meets standard ANSI 208.2 industry standard for medium density fiberboard.
